The baby got better. We went to the zoo. Then everyone got sick again.

Ah, well.

It was a perfect zoo day. The weather was gorgeous, it wasn't too crowded. We might go again next Wednesday - we have to get in all the zoo viewing before the real summer temperatures hit!

I miss being able to walk to the zoo.

Despite not being in walking distance, the Fort Worth Zoo is wonderful. It's full of trees, for one thing. It's well planned out with wonderful exhibits. If you have had had to suffer through episodes of Barney, it's the zoo that was featured in his show about going to the zoo. The Fort Worth Zoo is proud of that, and actually shows that episode at the zoo. Joy.

It's nice to go to the zoo without responsibility for any child under the age of three.

We received our copy of the Latina Christiana DVD. I've previewed it, and, well, it's boring.

What a shame.
