Today we met with our third dentist.
I liked this guy. This is the first dentist I've liked. He's less expensive than dentist #2, and his office staff seemed very easy to work with.
Of course, he doesn't do in-office sedation. He only does sedation in the hospital.
We're back to square one, though I think I'd feel more comfortable doing general anesthesia with this guy than with dentist #1. At any rate, I'm not going back to dentist #2.
The current choices are:
* Go with dentist #3, and do general anesthesia in the hospital
* Contact the local dental college, and see if they can help us (long drive, students, but would be much cheaper)
* Interview YET ANOTHER dentist
Hmmmm.

Weird thought, here, but when I think "students" performing work on me, I'm ok with things like hair, nails, possibly a leg wax, even the idea of the students taking a peek at the teaching hospitals (but actual diagnosis and work performed by somebody more experienced). I'm not so sure I'd go w/ a student anesthesiologist...
Just thinking on it.

Nah, the students are dental students. They do the dental work. The anesthesiologist is a real one :)
