So far this morning .... we re-read The Magic Schoolbus: Inside the Human Body and had a discussion about blood. Connor played the Grammar Rock cd and I worked with him. He learned the difference between proper nouns and common nouns. He picked this up very quickly, considering we'd never discussed nouns before! So now he can identify a noun, and whether it is proper or not.

Still need to do phonics, reading, math and history. But the grammar was an unexpected foray, and that's fine. I'm hoping a history book I ordered arrives today.
